The search for body of drowned medical Doctor Continued yesterday in Lagos ,as  members of his family reject body recovered from Lagos Lagoon by Marine police.

The General Manager of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Tiamiyu Adeshina, who disclosed this in an interview with pressmen on the recovered body, confirmed that a body was recovered at about 10 am.

According to him, the family of the doctor was alerted and on their arrival, adding that they claimed that the recovered body wasn’t Dr. Allwell Orji’s body.

Dwelling on why criteria the Orji’s rejected the body, the General Manager said, “When the relatives, five of them, arrived they claimed that Allwell was taller than the body recovered by the Marine Police.

“The driver said that the doctor was putting on a Chinos trousers and long-sleeve shirt. But the body we found was putting on a jeans and a short-sleeve T-shirt.

“The diver who spoke to us said that the recovered body must have been in water for over five days,” he added.

Adeshina noted that the search has continued to recover the body of the doctor.

He disclosed that the recovered body has been handed over to State Environmental Health Management Unit (SEHMU) for property preservation.
