WWE planning on first-ever women’s Money In The Bank match

WWE is making more progress with the women’s evolution . During the past year, we’ve women headline Raw, a Hell in a Cell match and we could be looking at the first-ever women’s Money In The Bank match, according to Pro Wrestling Sheet.

In addition to the traditional men’s Money In The Bank, the plan is to announce an all-women’s MITB match for the Smack down -branded show in July. There are no names announced yet but given that there are just a handful of active women wrestlers on the Smackdown brand then you can guess most of the names that will be involved.

WWE’s initial efforts with the Women’s Revolution got off to a bumpy start but they have made a real effort within the past year or so to give the women more storylines and more in-ring time so this is another very good step.

This year’s Money In The Bank pay-per-view will take place on 6/18 from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis.
